Goal:
Create a background for the sack drop project.

1.In your sketchbook, full page, create a background that shows one or two point perspective. Draw in pencil first, use a ruler to check your perspective. If you feel confident about your drawing go ahead and ink the drawing when done using different ink pen thicknesses. The next time we meet you can color it in illustrator. You can draw an interior or exterior. The images below are screen shots that show how perspective was built into the backgrounds.

2. The theme is up to you, however you will need to do some research before you begin drawing. Will the sack be jumping in a castle, on a shrine, a wood cabin or just plain costco. Also consider objects that may be in the background.

3. Remember you sack will start at a high point, fall onto a secondary object, bounce off and land on the ground. You need to design the landing points into the background.

4. Basic perspective tips
